How do I print my MATLAB file to PDF in Mac OS X?

The Print dialog of the editor in Mac OS X does not allow an option to print the file to PDF. The native print dialog in Mac OS X allows me to print the file directly to a PDF file. I would like a way to bypass the MATLAB print dialogue to get the Mac native print dialog.

MATLAB does not support native printing in Mac OS X. To work around this issue, the 'Print to File' option in the Print Dialog can be used. This will save the file in Post Script format.

By default in OS X, a PS file is opened; it is automatically converted to a PDF by Preview. Now the file can be saved in the PDF format.
